The process of organizing consists of the following steps:

  1. Determination and division of work. The first step in organizing is to determine the tasks required for the accomplishment of established objectives.
  2. Grouping activities. The various activities identified under the first are then classified into appropriate departments and divisions according to similarities and common purpose.
  3. Assignment of duties. The individual departments are then allotted the different activities to perform.
  4. Delegation of authority. Once the duties and responsibilities of every individual have been fixed, he must be given the authority necessary to carry out the duties assigned to him.
